So I guess I will start with health stuff since that's what most people seem to want to know all the time...not much has happened since my appointment that I talked about in my last blog post...I had the CAT scan on Thursday which was no big deal...I don't find out the results until I go see the doctor again in like two weeks or something like that...I did have to drink three smallish bottles of Barium for the test...as I keep telling people...it is not the worst thing I've ever had to drink but that doesn't mean I wanted to drink it...I kept having to tell myself to not throw up because then I would just have to drink more...even though it didn't taste too bad it did give me a stomach ache the rest of the day so that was no fun at all...most of the day I didn't want to eat because I had no appetite at all... Besides that I have been getting pretty tired again which most likely means my hemoglobin is low again...which means I will probably have to get blood aga...

But I thought I would post again and tell you all what happened at my GI appointment this morning... I told the doctor I had been having a lot of stomach cramps and my stomach gets upset a lot...he said that is very common...what's going on is that the mass thing-y is actually what my ulcer is doing as it heals...he said he has seen this before just not as bad as I have it and it looks a little weird but as the ulcer heals its swelling a lot and getting inflamed...since the ulcer was right near the end of my stomach the swelling is making it hard for digested food to get out of my stomach...he told me to eat things that don't have a lot of fiber and soft foods that can easily be digested to help with the pain I am having...I will still have to take some benefiber though or I am running to the bathroom constantly with diarrhea cause of my failing kidney so I will just have to deal with that pain...he did lower the dose of my medicine for my stomach though because he figures si...

If this post comes across weird or is hard to read or if I seem super moody...in the past three nights I have had 5 hours of sleep each night with no naps during the day...this would normally be tiring but add int hat I am super sick and that I have been trying to get out and actually do stuff you get one very tired pretty grumpy BB... Real quick I forgot in my last blog post to mention a few more great things that happened last week...Friday on last week my blisters that were by m cath finally dried up completely and are now gone and I got a really nice blanket in the mail from a friend of mine in AZ Kristine...she knit or crocheted it...I don't really understand the difference...I know she did one of the two and I know its purple and I know I love it...the end As many of you know I had a what's called a fistulagram and an angioplasty done this week on my fistula...that all went well and was only a little painful...then I went and saw my kidney doctor...here's my mom...

Monday was hard...I should have been excited because when we went and saw my surgeon he said that my fistula looked good and that it would work...since I have been having nightmares that it doesn't work and have to have another surgery to try again it was nice to hear that it would work...he also said that it wouldn't get huge and look gross like I have been worried about so that's super nice...but when he told me I would have to go in this week to have an x-ray of my fistula and possibly a small balloon put in part of it to help stretch it out that's all I could focus on and I just wanted to cry...and some of the way home from Peoria I did...so that day was rough...I have that going on this week on Wednesday and then I go see my kidney doc right after that...well after I get some lunch... I am also still losing my hair...that has been an interesting journey...found out that happens because of a med we put in my cath to keep my blood from clotting in the line...when w...

So I am not sure what to write about...but as per usual I will give an update of health stuff since it seems lately I have a doctor's appointment or a test or something else health related every week... This week I had an upper GI scope on Tuesday...my hemoglobin that day was 6.6 so they had to give me 2 units of blood...they wanted to get one in before my procedure so that put it back a little bit...for those of you that don't know it usually takes 2 hours to cross and type match you for blood so you spend a lot of time sitting around waiting...with that being said my scope which was planned for 12:15 ended up happening at closer to 2...they put the first unit of blood in my body in an hour and then I had the scope and then got the second unit in about two hours...that's pretty normal it just ended up being a long day since I got into the hospital that morning at about 10:30 then didn't leave till about 6...and we still had to do dialysis after that...as for the scope...
