Post Procedure

Hi there. I have had quite a few people asking me how I am doing post surgery and reminded me that I should put a little update here. So my laparoscopy was April 1st and took longer than mom and I thought it would but that’s not really a bad thing. My doctor took his time to be very thorough. I have 6 little scars now from where the camera was inserted. Six may seem like a lot but to me necessary and worth it. He found a few interesting things - He thought that he might find a build up of scar tissue inside of me because of the visible scars from my transplant but he did not see that build up which is great. He checked a few others things relating to my transplants like the connections to my bladder and that all looked really good. Relating to my endometriosis symptoms he found/did quite a few things that were note worthy. He found what looked to me like a large cyst on my left ovary that he removed. An Update of Sorts

Hey there, It has been almost a year since I have given any kind of health update. It's nice to be into the daily life stuff of my disease instead of the more dramatic days of around 7 years ago. But as many of you know that doesn't mean I am not dealing with things that come up periodically. And the day to day medical routines that keep me alive are still and will always be a thing. I thought I would write today to fill you all in on some non-kidney health things that have come up and are proving to be a problem. Well really thing that I have been dealing with for a long time and putting off taking care of until my kidney health was under control. Though never officially diagnosed with it I show and have shown a lot of the symptoms of having endometriosis.
